Hope you all had a great Christmas. We started ours early in December with meals and drinks with friends and family; we knew that Christmas Day was going to be tough - being the first since our Mum passed. A few tears as I opened a table gift from my daughter Carly - a photo of her and my Mum, but we remembered happy times and it turned out to be a wonderful day. Christmas Eve we all went to the residential home to see my Aunt who has advanced dementia, it's so sad to see her, a woman who used to be the life and soul of the party. She's also very hard of hearing and diminished sight - what a life. As we left, we all said that my Mum was in a much better place, she wouldn't have wanted to live like that.
I know I've been a bit absent in the new products department, but my thoughts have been elsewhere; new goodies are on the way, I promise. Tomorrow is last day to post your December 2015 Challenge layouts and projects; the January 2016 Challenge starts this week ... I may be working it a little different, so eyes peeled!
Made a new page today - on 27 December, Carly was on rota to feed and weigh the centre's birds, so we went in to help - it's always a pleasure =) We took a peek at the reindeer, Emma's horses and the cute miniature ponies - 10 of them, all from a rescue centre - they're adorable. We took them Polo mints, which they love, a belated Christmas treat! Then we had a cuddle with a few of the birds, including Levi (a Chilean Blue Eagle), who posed lovely for a photo:
